Orchha Hotels Reviews
Some of The Orchha Hotel Reviews Are As follows.
We arrived at the hotel very late night (avoid if you can!). After several attempts to phone ahead to reassure them we were still coming, we succeeded in speaking to with the owner's cousin, who was both charming and helpful. He organised for the restaurant to stay open until we arrived (at past 11pm!), and took our order over the phone! What a joy, to be greeted by such an hospitable welcome, and it just got better!
Very beautiful hotel and nice gardens also. a beautiful word for relax. the swimming pool wasn't clean and neat in but the rooms were very clean and we even had a kettle and tea bags! the shower was always hot. had a small terrace with a couple of chairs outside the room but didn't use them because the garden had lovely comfy chairs and beds.service is also nice. good buffet breakfast with helpful waiters serving coffee.
Most people that visit Orccha want to see the three city's palace. In fact, if you had been in a great journey in India, this city really isn't worth. First, it's so far way from anywhere and to get there is necessary to spend a lot of hours by car, without interesting things to see during the way. Second, the city's palaces are in a terrible situation, unfortunately. Then, maybe, it's better to spend your time in other cities.
This hotel could be seductive and maybe was 60 years ago, but it needs a big make more. Another India hotel that does not have hot water and the power goes out frequently. The food was OK, nothing special.
Me and my family stayed here for only one night. All of us found this to be the best place during our entire journey in north India. It's such a relaxed place away from the crowded and busy cities. The hotel is lovely and you can feel and see the effort that the owners put into it everywhere. The rooms are big and ours had little balconies facing the river. There's also a nice terrace with good views. Apart from the clean and beautiful rooms, the landscape is beautiful, too.
We went to Orchha.....for Holi 2012......this resort is the best resort hotel in Orchha!! Lavish manicured gardens......a terrace walk....to enjoy the views of the resort and the Betwa river. As the name suggests "Riverside", it means Riverside......the room opens up on the Betwa River....and the views are spectacular!! Nice rooms with comfortable beds a large bathroom & bags of character.
Bundelkhand Riverside is in a beautiful location where you can see wild peacocks down by the river.natue walk provided and rooftop views of the Betwa river simply amazing. The Roof terrace makes a nice walk in early evening or in the morning. You can even try a dip in the river waters.......for which you just have to hop out of ur room!!
